Web Design in Miami

In Miami, a buyer in Bogotá comparing condo developers, a cruise passenger booking a transfer from the port and a distributor in São Paulo vetting a supplier all meet you on your website first. Talha Aslan and team design fast, accessible sites for those audiences in English, Spanish and, where it helps, Portuguese, and run every project online with a written scope.

In short

Web design in Miami means building one site for two markets: customers across South Florida and buyers throughout Latin America. The US Census Bureau's Vintage 2024 estimate put Miami's population at 487,014 on July 1, 2024. Talha Aslan and team work with Miami real estate, hospitality, trade and healthcare businesses fully online, with a written scope and progress you can follow in our CRM.

Miami's business profile

What should a website do for a company in Miami?

The Census Bureau's Vintage 2024 estimate counts 487,014 residents in the city of Miami, second in Florida only to Jacksonville, and a gain of 16,337 people from 2023 to 2024. Four strengths shape the local economy, and each asks something different of your website.

PortMiami, cruise and cargo

PortMiami calls itself the Cruise Capital of the World: it welcomed 8,233,056 cruise passengers in fiscal year 2024 and handled more than 1.1 million TEUs of containers in its last fiscal year. Transfer, excursion, ship supply and freight companies need pages that load instantly on a phone and take a quote or booking request in a few taps.

The gateway to Latin America

The Miami Dade Beacon Council reports that the Miami Customs District carried more than two thirds of Florida's two way trade in 2023 and describes Miami as the number one trading partner of Latin America. Exporters and distributors need Spanish and Portuguese product pages, downloadable catalogs and a fast WhatsApp route to sales.

Brickell's financial district

According to the Beacon Council, more than 60 international banks operate in Brickell and over 500 fintech companies work locally. Accountants, law firms, wealth advisers and consultants serving that market need a site that signals credibility at once: clear practice areas, real team profiles and contact in the client's language.

The Miami Health District

The Beacon Council calls the Miami Health District the second largest medical district in the US, and lists Jackson Health, Baptist Health South Florida and Nicklaus Children's Hospital among the region's major institutions. Clinics and health providers benefit from accessible, quick pages that patients can read in English or Spanish.

How we work

Our team works from Istanbul; your Miami project runs remotely, on a clear plan

We have no branch, agent or staff in the United States; Talha Aslan and team are based in Istanbul. Miami runs on Eastern Time, so Istanbul is 7 hours ahead during daylight saving and 8 hours ahead in winter. We hold calls between 9 and 11 in the morning Miami time, our afternoon, and the work we finish during our day is in the CRM when your office opens.

First we agree on which market the site has to win: an investor touring Brickell, a buyer in Bogotá or São Paulo, a cruise visitor with one day in port, or a partner in Türkiye. Languages, who writes which copy and the delivery dates all go into the written scope; if your travels bring you to Istanbul, we are happy to meet over coffee too.

Process

From brief to launch in four steps

  1. Discovery and scope

We define your business, your audience and the site’s one-sentence job: who it sells what to, through which action. Scope and timeline are written from that answer.

  2. Design approval

The home page and key templates come to you as designs first; no code is written before your approval. We do not like surprises, and we do not cause them.

  3. Development

The approved design becomes fast, secure, maintainable code. You follow progress in the CRM and see every page in a staging environment before launch.

  4. Launch and measurement

The site goes live with analytics, Search Console and conversion tracking connected; panel training is given, first-year hosting and maintenance included.

In-depth guide

Web Design Miami: One Site for South Florida and Latin America

Talha Aslan and teamLast updated: 16 min read

This guide is for owners and marketing leads of Miami companies that sell in two directions at once: to customers across South Florida and to buyers in Bogotá, Lima, Santo Domingo or São Paulo. Condo brokerages, forwarders, cruise transfer operators, clinics and Brickell advisory firms all face one question: which visitor comes first, and in which language?

Talha Aslan and team have ordered the topics the way decisions arrive in a real web design Miami project. Every section ends with something concrete: a check you can run today, a question to put to any studio, or a decision to write down.

The Job a Website Does in Miami's Economy

In Miami a website is often the first meeting with a buyer who will never visit your office. The US Census Bureau estimated the city's population at 487,014 on July 1, 2024, second in Florida after Jacksonville, with 16,337 more residents than a year earlier.

Three facts from the page above shape the brief. PortMiami counted 8,233,056 cruise passengers in fiscal year 2024. The Miami Dade Beacon Council reports that the Miami Customs District carried more than two thirds of Florida's two way trade in 2023. And more than 60 international banks operate in Brickell. Each of these flows brings a different reader to your site:

  • The overseas buyer: a distributor or investor abroad who checks whether your company is real, solvent and reachable in Spanish or Portuguese before the first call.
  • The visitor with limited time: a cruise passenger or conference guest who decides on a phone, often within minutes, whether to book.
  • The professional client: a bank, family office or corporate counsel who reads credentials and practice areas closely.
  • The resident customer: a household in Little Havana or Coconut Grove searching for a clinic, contractor or service nearby.

Rank these readers before anyone opens a design tool. Whoever comes first decides what sits above the fold, which language the homepage opens in and which actions you will count as success.

How Miami Searches: Neighborhoods, Languages and the Calendar

Any web design Miami brief should start from how people search. Queries here split by place, language and season.

  • Place: "pediatric dentist Coral Gables", "accountant Brickell", "property manager Edgewater" or "customs broker Doral". Coral Gables, Doral, Hialeah and Miami Beach are separate cities inside Miami Dade County, so a firm in the city of Miami should name them only where it truly works.
  • Language: the same need appears as "contador en Miami" and "CPA Miami", with different competitors on each results page.
  • Port days: searches for transfers, luggage storage and short excursions cluster around ship arrivals.
  • Trade show weeks: Seatrade Cruise Global takes place April 5 to 8, 2027 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and suppliers who publish their show pages weeks ahead collect the planning searches.
  • Storm season: roofing, shutters, generators, water damage and insurance claims see sudden demand when a storm is forecast.

A simple exercise helps: list ten money searches, half English and half Spanish, and run them on a phone. For each, note whether a map pack, a directory, a service page or an article wins, and mark every query your site has no page for. Those gaps are your sitemap's starting point.

Hiring a Studio Seven Hours Ahead of Biscayne Bay

Distance stops mattering when decisions are written and progress is visible. Our team is in Istanbul and we have no branch or staff in the United States. Miami runs on Eastern Time, so Istanbul is 7 hours ahead during US daylight saving time and 8 hours ahead in winter.

Calls therefore sit at nine or ten in the Miami morning, our afternoon, and work finished during our day is ready when your office opens. Whoever you shortlist, local or overseas, ask for written answers to these questions:

  • Does the scope list every template, language, form, integration and revision round, and what it excludes?
  • Can our sales manager open the staging version at any hour without booking a session?
  • Who writes or edits the Spanish copy, and is that person a native speaker who knows Latin American usage?
  • If we part ways, which files, accounts and exports do we receive, and how fast?

Then look at shipped sites rather than slides. We have not built anything in the United States yet; our portfolio comes from Türkiye, with real estate firms, hotels and a logistics company among the projects, and each one is listed with its address on our references page. Pick three, load them over 5G away from office wifi, submit a test enquiry and apply the standard you would use for a studio in Wynwood.

Domain, Hosting, Code and Accounts in the Company's Name

Everything the site depends on should belong to the legal entity, not to an employee, a relative or a vendor. Many Miami businesses operate through an LLC whose ownership changes over the years, and a domain registered to a former partner can stall a sale or a relaunch.

  • Domain: the registrant should be the LLC or corporation itself, the registrar account should sit under a company login, renewal should run automatically, and the contact address should be a role mailbox such as office or admin rather than a personal one.
  • Hosting: invoiced to your company, placed in an East Coast data center so Florida visitors get short load times and Latin American visitors acceptable ones. You keep your own keys to the server panel and to DNS, the record system that points your domain at the right server and mail service.
  • Code and licenses: the complete source handed over at launch, usage rights stated in the contract, and every theme, typeface and stock photo bought in your company's name.
  • Google and messaging accounts: Search Console, GA4, the Business Profile and the WhatsApp Business number belong to the company; outside helpers receive user roles you can remove.

Keep a one page access register: service, owner, renewal date and who outside the company can log in. Update it whenever a manager leaves.

Seven Online Steps From Kickoff to Launch

Our web design Miami projects move through seven steps, and each one closes with your written approval before the next begins. You can see open tasks, finished work and pending input in our CRM at any time.

  1. Kickoff call: we go through your readers, target countries, rival sites and the brochures or decks you already have; afterwards a written scope lists each page and the person responsible for its content.
  2. Language and market plan: which pages exist in English only, which also in Spanish or Portuguese, and who reviews each version.
  3. Sitemap and wording: we fix the menu and draft the main texts before any visual work, since a unit availability table or a timetable for ship days reshapes a screen.
  4. Design: the homepage and one inner page first, as a clickable preview; the rest after approval.
  5. Build on staging: forms, privacy pages, analytics and accessibility work on a password protected address.
  6. Testing: each language is clicked through on iPhone and Android, in Safari and Chrome, including every form and WhatsApp link.
  7. Launch and handover: the switch happens on a weekday morning Miami time, we send real test enquiries through every channel, and the people who will edit the site receive a video tutorial they can replay.

Nothing in this process requires travel. If business brings you to Istanbul, you are welcome at our Ataşehir office; that meeting is optional, never a step in the plan.

Local Search From Little Havana to the Design District

Map results and "near me" searches depend largely on your Google Business Profile, while the website wins the click with detail. Keep both in step: identical business name, street address, phone number and hours.

  • Business name: exactly what appears on your storefront and your state registration. Stuffing service words into it, for example "Top Miami Movers", breaks Google's guidelines and can get the listing suspended.
  • Address or service area: a clinic in Allapattah shows its address; a pool or air conditioning service that drives to customers in Kendall or Hialeah can hide it and set a service area.
  • Citations: Yelp, the Better Business Bureau and your chamber or association listing should repeat the profile details character for character, suite number included.
  • Reviews in two languages: invite reviews with a short link after each job, never pay or reward them, and reply in the language the reviewer used.

A Spanish "cerca de mí" search can show different map results than "near me", so describe your services in both languages where accurate. Avoid cloning one page per neighborhood with only the name swapped; Google treats such pages as doorway pages.

A location page earns its place when it holds something nobody else can write: a second office in Doral, finished jobs in Coconut Grove with photos, or the person who covers Little Haiti. Profile upkeep, review replies and a monthly report are included in our SEO service.

English and Spanish, Then Portuguese or Turkish

For most Miami companies English leads and Spanish is not optional, because Spanish is an everyday business language in the city and in its export markets. The real decision is which further languages earn their cost, and the answer depends on who actually pays you.

  • Spanish: a full version for clinics, legal and accounting firms, home services, real estate and any exporter to Central or South America, provided your team can also answer calls and messages in Spanish.
  • Portuguese: worth it when Brazilian buyers are a steady share of enquiries, for example in condo sales or in distribution to Brazil.
  • Turkish: useful when partners, suppliers or investors in Türkiye review your company, or when you serve the Turkish speaking community in Florida.

Write Spanish pages for Latin American searchers rather than translating word for word; a buyer in Bogotá may use different terms than one in Hialeah. Give every language its own indexable URLs, usually one folder per language, and connect them with hreflang so each version points to its siblings and to itself.

Our hreflang generator produces the markup, and the multilingual website page explains the structure in depth. Start with service, project and contact pages; articles can wait for a later phase.

Speed, East Coast Hosting and Security

Speed matters doubly in Miami because so many visitors are on phones, on roaming data or on a ship's connection. Google's Core Web Vitals give three thresholds that 75 percent of real visits should meet:

  • Largest contentful paint (LCP): measures when the biggest visible element, usually the hero photo, finishes rendering; the target is 2.5 seconds or less.
  • Interaction to next paint (INP): measures the delay between a tap and the screen's response; the target is 200 milliseconds or less.
  • Cumulative layout shift (CLS): measures how much content moves around while loading; the target is 0.1 or less, so nobody taps the wrong button.

In web design Miami work, waterfront drone videos, uncompressed renderings and sliders are the usual reasons sites are slow. Serve modern image formats at the size actually displayed, load video only on request, and keep chat widgets from blocking the first screen. Our mobile friendly test gives a first reading in a minute.

Host on the US East Coast and use a content delivery network so Latin American visitors also get nearby copies of images. Write security into the contract too: HTTPS everywhere, a fixed update rhythm, daily backups kept off the server with one trial restore before launch, a second login factor for every administrator, and mail authentication through SPF, DKIM and DMARC so your offers to buyers in Panama or Santiago do not land in junk.

Page Patterns for Miami's Leading Sectors

The right structure follows the buyer, and Miami's sectors ask for very different pages. These are general patterns, not client stories.

  • Real estate and new developments: project pages with floor plans, amenities and completion status, neighborhood guides for Brickell or Edgewater, and an enquiry flow that asks for budget band, timeline and preferred language; the real estate website page shows the full structure.
  • Port transfers and excursions: pickup points at the cruise terminals, timings tied to ship departures, luggage rules and a booking request that works with one thumb; see the transfer company website page.
  • Freight forwarding and export: services by mode and destination, the documents a shipper must prepare, Incoterms explained in plain words and a quote form asking for origin, destination, cargo and dates; the logistics company website page goes deeper.
  • Clinics near the Health District: provider profiles with credentials, accepted insurance plans, parking and access details, and forms that collect only what is needed.
  • Advisory firms in Brickell: practice areas, partner profiles with jurisdictions and languages, and a contact path that respects confidentiality.

Choose the pattern of your main buyer and test one thing: can that buyer find your three strongest proofs within one minute on a phone?

Florida and Federal Rules That Shape the Build

There is no general federal privacy statute, so a Miami company combines federal acts, Florida law and the rules of its customers' states. Treat these points as a briefing for counsel, not legal advice.

  • Florida Digital Bill of Rights: its definition of a controller covers only very large companies above a global revenue threshold with certain digital business models, so most local firms fall outside it. A clear privacy notice is still expected, and visitors from California can bring the CCPA into play.
  • Texting customers: the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act treats text messages as sales calls and requires prior express written consent for automated sales calls or texts. A website form that collects phone numbers for marketing needs a clear, separate consent line.
  • ADA Title III: according to Justice Department guidance, places of public accommodation have to keep their web content usable for people with disabilities; readable contrast, full keyboard operation, image descriptions and named form fields therefore go into the first build.
  • CAN SPAM Act: promotional email must identify the sender truthfully, avoid misleading subjects, include a physical postal address and stop within 10 business days after someone unsubscribes. The FTC states that messages to other businesses are covered as well.
  • Sales tax: under Florida Statutes 212.0596, remote sellers above the statutory threshold of taxable sales into Florida must collect tax.

An online shop adds tax settings, shipping zones and refund terms to the checkout, which belong in the first scope, not in a later patch.

Relaunching a Site That Already Ranks

Rankings survive a relaunch when every old address with traffic or links points to its closest successor. Miami companies often rebuild after a rebrand, a new development launch or the addition of Spanish pages, and each of these changes addresses.

  1. Collect: combine three URL lists, from your XML sitemap, from Search Console's page report and from a crawler, and attach visits and linking domains to each row.
  2. Map: tag every row as keep, merge or retire and type the successor URL in the next column, so the team works from a single list.
  3. Protect staging: lock it behind a password. A robots.txt block stops Google from fetching the page, which also means it never sees a noindex tag there, and blocked test pages can still surface as bare links.
  4. Redirect: single hop 301 redirects to the matching page; sending everything to the homepage throws away the signals you earned.
  5. Watch: hand Google the fresh sitemap, read the coverage and 404 figures every Monday for about two months, and correct the website field on your Business Profile, Yelp and BBB listings.

Avoid switching during peak winter cruise weeks, before a forecast storm or in a tower's launch week. When a new domain is part of the plan, renew the previous one for years and announce the move through Search Console's site move feature.

Common Mistakes on Miami Business Websites

Enquiries in this city are usually lost to language gaps, missing proof and clumsy phone layouts, not to an ugly color scheme. These six patterns come up again and again, and each has a straightforward fix:

  • A Spanish version produced by a browser plugin: native readers notice at once and leave. Instead, have a fluent writer prepare the pages that sell and route Spanish enquiries to someone who answers in Spanish.
  • Renderings instead of facts: condo sites full of mood images but without floor plans, fees explained or completion status. Instead, put the facts a buyer needs one tap away from every image.
  • A WhatsApp button with nobody behind it: messages wait for days. Instead, set business hours in the WhatsApp Business profile and name who answers which language.
  • Marketing texts without consent: forms that add every phone number to a promotional list. Instead, use a separate, unticked consent line and keep a record of it.
  • Brickell skyline stock photos everywhere: every competitor uses the same views. Instead, photograph your own vans, staff, lobby or finished interiors; honest phone pictures beat borrowed postcards.
  • Neighborhood pages for all of Miami Dade: forty pages that differ only by place name drag the whole domain down. Instead, invest in one thorough service page and open area pages where real jobs, staff or offices exist.

What Drives the Budget

A Miami address does not change what we charge; hours are driven by scope, content and the systems the site talks to. To compare web design Miami offers fairly, have every bidder split its figure into these blocks:

  • Templates: the count of unique layouts, for instance tower, unit, tour, service, doctor and job opening, each of which needs design and code.
  • Languages: each version means writing or editing, native review, approval rounds and its own testing; three languages cost noticeably more effort than two.
  • Listings and catalogs: whether units, tours or products are entered by hand, imported once or synced from another system.
  • Integrations: CRM, booking engines, WhatsApp Business, payment, or feeds from a property listing service.
  • Migration: how many legacy addresses need a redirect plan and follow up checks.
  • Maintenance: whether patches, backups, uptime checks and text edits stay with your staff or move to a monthly agreement.

Good homework saves more than haggling: signed off service texts, your own photos, the questions clients ask in each language and a single decision maker cut every feedback loop short. Treat a bid that shows one lump sum with suspicion, because you cannot see what it leaves out.

The First 90 Days and Your Next Step

Launch day starts the measurement, it does not end the project. Assign one theme to each of the next three months:

  1. Month one: confirm that quote requests, WhatsApp clicks, calls and bookings are recorded as key events in GA4, separately for each language, and that Search Console shows clean indexing.
  2. Month two: study the queries, districts and languages behind your traffic; sharpen page titles that get impressions without clicks and expand pages that answer too little.
  3. Month three: turn repeated questions from sales calls into page content, compare leads by channel and language, and decide where the next hours or ad budget should go.

English and Spanish sites with a clear scope usually fit one of our fixed packages, listed in the pricing section of our web design page. Projects with three or four languages, shops that ship to Florida addresses or portals with live inventory get an itemized written offer once we have spoken.

The quickest start: name your two key readers, list ten searches in English and Spanish and add your current URL in our contact form. You get questions and a draft scope back, and then you judge whether our way of handling web design Miami suits your business.
