Why Turkish Case Conversion Is Special: The İ/ı Problem
Turkish is one of the rare languages using dotted and dotless i as separate letters: the uppercase of i is İ, and the lowercase of I is ı. Generic converters working with English rules turn "istanbul" into "ISTANBUL" (correct: İSTANBUL) and "IŞIK" into "işik" (correct: ışık). With Turkish selected, this tool uses locale-aware conversion and avoids those mistakes; German ß and standard English rules are applied for the other languages.
Title Case (first letter of every word capitalized) suits social media and blog headlines, and Sentence case (only sentence starts capitalized) is perfect for rescuing text typed with CAPS LOCK on. All conversion happens in your browser; your text is never sent anywhere.
