TikTok Money Calculator
The short answer to how much TikTok pays: the Creator Rewards Program pays roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views on videos longer than one minute, so 1 million qualified views earn about $400 to $1,000. TikTok publishes no official rate, and the program runs in only 8 countries, including the US and the UK. Our calculator checks eligibility for your country and adds LIVE gifts, subscriptions, Series, brand deals and TikTok Shop in low, mid and high scenarios, with sources.
United States: Creator Rewards is available. It pays on qualified views of videos longer than one minute.

- All amounts are estimates: TikTok publishes neither RPM nor a diamond value. Your real figure only shows in your TikTok dashboard.
- Creator Rewards pays on day 15 of the month once at least $10 has built up; smaller balances roll over.
- Brand rates are market data: on Collabstr the average TikTok collaboration is $182 to $186, and about 80% are under $300.

How the TikTok money calculator works: method, sources and assumptions
TikTok income cannot be known as one number: TikTok publishes neither RPM nor the dollar value of a diamond. So we calculate each channel separately and show the source, check date and confidence label next to every parameter. OFFICIAL values come from TikTok's or a government's own pages, RELIABLE values from major press and reports with a stated method, ESTIMATE values from third-party compilations; DERIVED means our own calculation from sourced figures. The result is a low, mid and high range, never a single figure.

How to use the TikTok money calculator
- Pick your country
Choose it under "Country you are based in". Outside the 8 Creator Rewards countries, the calculator sets view income to 0 and hides the qualified views field.
- Enter followers and views
Copy "Followers" and "Views, last 30 days" from Analytics in TikTok Studio. In program countries, also fill in "Qualified views per month" and pick an "RPM scenario".
- Add your LIVE gifts
Enter diamonds under "LIVE gifts per month", or switch to "USD from dashboard". Then choose your "Streaming routine".
- Add brand deals and extras
Enter "Sponsored posts per month" and, if you know it, "Your rate per post". Open "Subscriptions, Series and TikTok Shop" for the remaining channels.
- Read the result
"Estimated monthly income" shows the low, mid and high scenario. The "Breakdown by channel", the "Eligibility checklist" and "Tax and payouts" explain where each figure comes from.
TikTok money calculator formula
The calculator works out each channel separately and then adds them up. It reads every rate from its data file and produces a low, mid and high scenario for each channel.
qualified views ÷ 1,000 × RPM ($0.20 / $0.50 / $1.00); only 8 countries, age 18, 10,000 followers, 100,000 views in 30 daysno LIVE day 20%; 25+ min 38% + 1 day a week 6% or 2+ days 8% + 5 new followers 2%; cap 53%diamonds × $0.01 × rate (low scenario $0.005 × rate, high scenario $0.01 × 53%)subs × price × (1 − store fee) × share (US 70% / 90%, other regions 50% / 70%)sales × price × 70%posts × tier rate; mid = √(low × high), so 10,000 to 100,000 followers give √(25 × 1,250) ≈ $176.78GMV × 10% / 13% / 20% (0 in Türkiye)gross × 0.85Only the 53% cap is official. The 1 coin = 1 diamond rule, the $0.01 base and the middle tiers are ESTIMATE or derived. The calculator keeps full precision and rounds only on screen.
Example TikTok earnings calculations
Enter the same values in the calculator and you get these results. Amounts are monthly and in US dollars. Pick GBP or another currency, and the calculator converts them at the latest ECB rate. The first row is the input of the "Try an example" button.
| Profile | Inputs | Monthly: low / mid / high | Largest item (mid) |
|---|---|---|---|
| US, mid-size account (Try an example) | 40,000 followers, 800,000 views in 30 days, 300,000 qualified views, general RPM, 15,000 diamonds, 1 day a week, 1 sponsored post | $118 / $393 / $1,630 | Brand deals, 45.0% |
| UK, small account | 12,000 followers, 150,000 views, 60,000 qualified views, 3,000 diamonds, under 25 min, no sponsored posts | $15.00 / $36.00 / $75.90 | Creator Rewards, 83.3% |
| Same US account, finance niche | Row 1 values with the finance RPM scenario | $298 / $667 / $2,080 | Creator Rewards, 63.6% |
| Same account based in Türkiye | Row 1 values, country Türkiye | $58 / $243 / $1,330 | Brand deals, 72.8% |
| US, under 10,000 followers | 8,000 followers, 300,000 views, 100,000 qualified views, 5,000 diamonds, 2+ days a week, 1 sponsored post | $16.50 / $38.81 / $76.50 | LIVE gifts, 59.3% |
Row 5 misses the 10,000 follower requirement, so Creator Rewards stays out of the total. The calculator shows the $50 mid figure you would earn once eligible as a separate note. The mid brand deal value is the geometric middle of the tier (derived). If you enter your own rate per post, the calculator uses it instead.
What 10,000 diamonds earn at each LIVE tier
Your Scaled LIVE Rewards rate depends on your streaming routine. The table shows what the same 10,000 diamonds leave a creator at each tier, in US dollars.
| Streaming routine | Rate | Basis | 10,000 diamonds: low / mid / high |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under 25 min | 20% | ESTIMATE | $10.00 / $20.00 / $53.00 |
| 1 day a week, 25+ min | 44% | ESTIMATE | $22.00 / $44.00 / $53.00 |
| 2+ days a week, 25+ min | 46% | ESTIMATE | $23.00 / $46.00 / $53.00 |
| 2+ days a week, 5+ new followers | 48% | ESTIMATE | $24.00 / $48.00 / $53.00 |
| All missions | 53% | OFFICIAL cap | $26.50 / $53.00 / $53.00 |
The low scenario uses a $0.005 diamond base. Both other scenarios use $0.01, and the high one also applies the 53% cap. TikTok does not disclose a diamond value; both bases are derived.
Why does a TikTok money calculator give a range, not one number?
A TikTok money calculator adds up monthly income from six separate channels: Creator Rewards, LIVE gifts, LIVE subscriptions, Series, brand deals and TikTok Shop. Each channel rests on a different kind of source. For example, TikTok publishes the Creator Rewards requirements, but it never states a payout per 1,000 qualified views (RPM). No official page gives a dollar value per diamond either. That is why our calculator shows a low, mid and high scenario instead of one exact figure.
Talha Aslan and the team built this calculator as an independent tool with no affiliation to TikTok. It never connects to TikTok and never asks for a username. You enter your figures from TikTok Studio and LIVE Center yourself, and you only see your actual earnings there. The tables at the top of the page give the big picture by views and followers. This guide explains the rules behind them: which views earn money, why some countries earn differently and how the LIVE rate builds up.
Keep one point in mind: coins are virtual items that viewers buy. Moreover, nobody can exchange them back for cash. The only flow that turns into money is on the creator side, from gifts to diamonds to rewards. If you also want to know what coins cost viewers in each country, our TikTok coins calculator shows it.
What are qualified views, and why are they lower than total views?
Creator Rewards does not pay for every view of your video, only for qualified views. Under TikTok's official definition, a viewer has to watch for at least 5 seconds. For views from search, the minimum is 30 seconds instead. TikTok counts several views from the same account as one unique view. It ignores views marked "Not interested", ads and promoted views, as well as paid, fraudulent and artificial views.
Two more rules apply. The video has to be original and longer than one minute; Duets, Stitches and photo mode stay outside the program. In addition, the view has to come from one of the eight program countries: the US, the UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Mexico and Brazil. A video starts to collect rewards once it reaches 1,000 qualified views in the For You feed.
As a result, qualified views always stay below the total in your analytics. TikTok does not publish the ratio, and it differs from account to account. So our calculator does not invent one. Instead, it asks you to copy qualified views from your Creator Rewards dashboard into their own field. If you type total views there instead, the result can come out several times too high. Also note that views from Türkiye, Austria or Switzerland never qualify, even on a video by a creator based in the US.
Why is Creator Rewards not available in Türkiye, Austria or Switzerland?
The Creator Rewards Program is open in only eight countries right now, and Türkiye, Austria and Switzerland are not on the official list. TikTok's rule is clear: you must be based in one of the eight countries and have your account registered there. TikTok does not explain why a country is missing, so there is no sourced answer to when it might arrive. When you pick one of these countries, our calculator sets view income to 0. That is not a gap in the tool; it simply follows today's rule.
So where does income come from in those markets? First, LIVE gifts. Going LIVE usually needs 1,000 followers and age 18, and the gifts viewers send turn into diamonds and then into rewards. Second, brand deals, which take the largest share in our mid-size and large example accounts. Third, LIVE subscriptions: outside the US the creator keeps 50% of net revenue after store fees. That share rises to 70% with 10,000 followers and 1,000,000 views in the last month. We assume the same rate applies in those countries, because no regional page confirms it.
TikTok Shop is not open in Türkiye either, and we could not verify it for Austria and Switzerland. It makes sense, then, not to tie your income to one channel. Our YouTube money calculator and Kick earnings calculator show what the same audience could earn elsewhere. Our guide on how to enable YouTube monetization lists the YouTube requirements.
How do Scaled LIVE Rewards tiers set your LIVE income?
Since 4 August 2025, TikTok has calculated LIVE rewards with a model called Scaled LIVE Rewards. Instead of the old flat share, your reward depends on two things: the number of diamonds you collect and the reward percentage you unlock through LIVE missions. The official cap is 53%: 40% from Per LIVE missions and 13% from weekly missions. The Creator League mission also has a weekly cap of $1,000. A day only counts as a go LIVE day if you stream for at least 25 minutes in total. Under the EEA Rewards Policy, rewards expire 2 years after you first become eligible.
TikTok has not published the tiers in between as a table. Compilations based on creator reports give this picture (ESTIMATE). Without a 25 minute LIVE day the floor is 20%, and from 25 minutes the base is 38%. One valid LIVE day per week adds 6%, while two or more add 8%. Gaining 5 or more new followers during a LIVE adds another 2%. The "Streaming routine" options in our calculator use these tiers. The table above also shows what the same 10,000 diamonds leave you at each one.
TikTok does not disclose a dollar value per diamond. Our mid scenario uses a $0.01 base per diamond, a derived figure that matches the old reading of "50% equals $0.005". The low scenario, by contrast, uses a $0.005 base. Example calculation: the TikTok Universe gift costs 44,999 coins, which equals about 44,999 diamonds (Universe+ is a separate gift at 34,999 coins). For a creator who streams on 2 or more days a week, that gift leaves about $207 in the mid scenario. In practice, the low scenario gives $103.50 and the high one $238.49.
What sets your brand deal rate?
There is no official price list for brand deals; you and the brand agree on the fee. Our calculator therefore uses two market datasets for scale. A Meltwater compilation of Influencer Marketing Hub data (ESTIMATE) puts the fee per post at $5 to $50 for 500 to 10,000 followers. It then rises to $25 to $1,250 for 10,000 to 100,000 followers and $1,250 to $2,500 for 100,000 to 500,000 followers. Above 500,000 followers the source gives only a floor of $2,500. In Collabstr's marketplace data, the average TikTok collaboration costs $182 to $186, and about 80% cost less than $300.
The range is wide because the top of a tier can be 50 times its bottom. For the mid value, our calculator takes the geometric middle. For 10,000 to 100,000 followers, that is √(25 × 1,250) ≈ $176.78, close to the Collabstr average. Engagement, niche, the number of videos and usage rights decide where you land. There is no sourced engagement multiplier, but accounts with high engagement tend to reach the upper end. Our engagement rate calculator uses a formula you can apply to TikTok data as well.
Price usage rights separately. A brand that wants to run your video in its own ads usually asks for a Spark Ads authorization code. Our guide what are TikTok Spark Ads explains how that works. Always label paid content as an ad. If you want help finding the right brands, our influencer marketing team works with creators and brands on both sides.
Which factors raise or lower your RPM?
RPM is the average gross reward per 1,000 qualified views in Creator Rewards. TikTok does not publish a figure, but it does name the factors. The first is video performance: average watch time, retention and completion rate. Search value comes second; it favors videos that answer what people actually search for. Third comes location, meaning both where you live and where your video plays. Engagement and ad value complete the list; TikTok measures ad value by how long your viewers watch ads on TikTok.
The Additional Reward also lifts RPM. To earn it, a video needs to be well crafted (1080p or higher and longer than one minute), engaging and specialized. Originality matters most here. Reposted or unoriginal content does not enter the program at all.
Niche makes a big difference too. Compilations (ESTIMATE) report RPM of $0.80 to $2.50 for finance and business and $0.50 to $1.50 for education. Food also sits at $0.40 to $1.00, and entertainment and comedy at $0.20 to $0.60. The "RPM scenario" list in our calculator uses these ranges and takes the geometric middle as the mid value. For finance, for example, that is about $1.41. The general scenario uses $0.20, $0.50 and $1.00. Third-party compilations also report falling RPMs recently. In short, do not treat one strong month as permanent.
Which TikTok money calculator myths should you ignore?
The first myth says TikTok pays per like or per follower. It does not. Followers only unlock thresholds: usually 1,000 for LIVE and 10,000 for Creator Rewards. Likes, shares and comments bring no direct money; they work indirectly through RPM and your brand deal fee.
The second myth is the old Creator Fund rate. Many sites still quote $0.02 to $0.04 per 1,000 views. That fund ended on 16 December 2023 in the US, the UK, France and Germany. Its successor, Creator Rewards, however, only rewards videos longer than one minute. So the old math of "1 million views equals $20 to $40" no longer applies.
The third myth treats the coin price a viewer pays as the creator's income. In reality, the creator never receives the full amount, because the reward depends on diamonds and your mission rate. Coins also never turn back into cash. The fourth myth claims a username lookup can calculate exact earnings. However, no outside site can see your qualified views, gift diamonds or brand deal fees. That is why our calculator never asks for a username; you enter your own dashboard figures instead.
What are the tax basics for TikTok income in the US, the UK, Germany and Türkiye?
In the US, self employment tax of 15.3% applies once net self employment earnings reach $400. It applies to 92.35% of net earnings. In the UK, the tax year runs from 6 April to 5 April. If your total income in that year passes the £1,000 trading allowance, you must tell HMRC. Products and services you receive as gifts count as income too.
In Germany, the Kleinunternehmerregelung covers small businesses with a prior year turnover of up to €25,000. Turnover in the current year must also stay at or below €100,000. Sources put the trade tax (Gewerbesteuer) allowance at €24,500 of profit (ESTIMATE). In Türkiye, creator income can fall under income tax article 20/B. All of it has to arrive in a dedicated account at a bank in Türkiye. The bank then withholds 15% as a final tax, so net equals gross × 0.85. The 2026 limit is 5,300,000 TL, and crossing it removes the exemption for the whole year.
TikTok itself notes that Creator Rewards payments may be taxable. Our calculator only computes the Türkiye withholding and shows thresholds for the other markets. Therefore, please confirm your own case with a tax adviser. If you want a content plan that spreads income across several channels, our social media management team builds it with you.

- ✕MistakeTreating the coin price of a gift as income✓Do this insteadThe creator gets diamonds × base × mission rate, with a rate between 20% and 53%.
- ✕MistakeConfusing gross with net✓Do this insteadPayPal withdrawals in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland cost 1.5% + $0.10; in Türkiye, 20/B net is gross × 0.85.
