Most people who open a Kirikkale company's website have never visited the company. A quality engineer vetting a new machining supplier, a logistics planner booking tanker capacity near the refinery, an investor sizing up a startup at the university technopark: each forms a first opinion from a handful of pages. That is why our web design Kirikkale projects begin with the questions those readers ask rather than with colors and fonts.
This guide from Talha Aslan and team follows the order in which a Kirikkale business, or a foreign partner advising one, actually makes site decisions: who searches, how to judge a remote studio, what to publish and what to hold back, how to show up in local search, which languages matter, and what to do in the first three months after launch.
01What a Website Has to Do in Kirikkale's Economy
A Kirikkale website has to serve readers from four quite different economies with the same seriousness. According to TÜİK's 2024 provincial accounts, Kirikkale produced 13,284 dollars of output per person, 22nd of 81 provinces, up from 6,361 dollars in 2020. Neighboring Çankırı stood at 13.1 thousand dollars per person and Kırşehir at 10.6 thousand.
The Governorship's 2024 environment report adds the structure behind that growth: five of the ten factories of the state owned Machinery and Chemical Industry company (MKE) are in Kirikkale, 63 percent of the land is farmed, and the province sits at a highway junction linking 43 provinces. Add the Tüpraş refinery and the university campus in Yahşihan, and four readers emerge:
- The vetting engineer: looks for the machine park, measuring capability and quality certificates before adding a vendor.
- The transport buyer: wants fleet size, valid documents and a named emergency contact.
- The startup partner: needs the product, the team and a contact route explained in plain language.
- The local customer or visitor: wants an address, opening hours, a menu and a tap to call button.
Deciding in writing which reader comes first shortens every later discussion about menus and layouts.
02Who Searches for Kirikkale Businesses, and How
Search behavior around Kirikkale splits cleanly by profession: some searchers type the province or a neighborhood, others never mention a place at all. A resident looking for a tailor or an auto electrician will often add Yenişehir or Fabrikalar, the central neighborhoods, while a procurement specialist abroad types a process and a material, such as "precision CNC turning subcontractor" or "certified welding shop Turkey".
- Neighborhood and district searches: Yenişehir, Fabrikalar, Yahşihan and Keskin trigger map results, where the Business Profile and a consistent address decide visibility.
- Process and material searches: page titles that name the operation, the material and the certificate bring engineers to the right page.
- Route searches: transport buyers usually type origin and destination together, so list the corridors you actually serve.
- Verification searches: anyone who receives your quote will search your company name and expects a current site and the same phone number.
Around the campus, demand follows the academic calendar. Student housing, tutoring courses and stationery shops should refresh their pages before enrollment periods and remove last term's details. Visitors looking for Keskin Tava, the district's registered regional dish, are usually on the road and need a fast mobile menu and a directions link more than anything else.
03How to Judge a Studio That Works Remotely
Our work with Kirikkale businesses and their partners runs entirely online, so you should judge any studio by how well it documents decisions, not by how close it is. We have no branch or representative in Kirikkale, and we say so up front.
The quickest test in a first call is what the studio asks you. A team that asks only about logos and colors, and never about which documents a buyer reviews before approving a vendor, is planning a brochure rather than a working site. Put these questions to every candidate and ask for written answers:
- Reader: Who will study my site most closely, and what must that person see before contacting us?
- Confidentiality: Who approves client names and part drawings before publication, and at which step?
- Evidence: Which live projects close to my sector can I open on my phone right now?
- Tracking: Where can I see the project status without waiting for an email?
Do not settle for screenshots on the evidence question. Open the live address, submit the form, scroll on a phone and watch for lag. Our live work is on the references page; none of it is in Kirikkale, and we are happy to walk through the examples closest to manufacturing and logistics on a first call.
04Ownership of the Domain, Code and Accounts
Every asset tied to the site should be registered to the business, with the studio working only as an authorized user. For a supplier that sells to public sector plants, this is more than convenience; it is the kind of order an audit may ask about.
On handover day, we open and check this list together:
- Domain: the registrant field shows the company's legal name, and renewal reminders go to a company address.
- Hosting panel: the business holds the administrator password, and the backup location and frequency are written down.
- Source files: code and database can be handed over in full on request, and the license holder of every paid component is named.
- Analytics and profile: Search Console, GA4 and the Google Business Profile live in the company's accounts, with user access granted to the studio.
- Company email: mailboxes on the company domain are managed so that they can be closed when an employee leaves.
That last point matters most for factory suppliers. Correspondence with buyers, quote files and technical drawings tend to pile up in those mailboxes; when they are scattered across personal addresses, both continuity and confidentiality suffer.
05The Project Timeline in Video Sessions
What speeds up a remote project is not the number of meetings but clarity about who signs off each step. With Kirikkale firms and their partners abroad, we follow this sequence, in English or Turkish:
- Introductory session: on video, we go through your readers, the work you sell and your current site.
- Written scope: page list, languages, forms and launch date arrive in a written quote, and work starts on your approval.
- Collecting material: machine and fleet photos, certificates and texts go into a shared folder, and you mark what may be published.
- Design rounds: you review the draft on a shared preview link on phone and desktop and leave comments on the exact spot.
- Build and testing: forms, file uploads and call buttons are tested on several devices.
- Launch and panel training: on launch day we show, in a video session, how to update documents and photos, followed by a first month check.
Tasks, files and approvals stay in our CRM, so you never have to ask where things stand. If you are in Istanbul at some point, we can also meet at our office in Ataşehir by appointment; tracking continues in the same place.
Step three usually takes longest. Picking a photo day that fits the production schedule, agreeing the document list with the quality team in advance and having one person collect everything saves weeks.
06Local Search in Central Kirikkale, Yahşihan and Keskin
Map visibility in Kirikkale depends less on the website than on an accurate Google Business Profile that matches the site word for word. Google's guidelines require the profile name to match the real world name on the sign, without added keywords; a name like "Master Welding Kirikkale Cheapest" invites suspension.
Beyond the central district, there are eight districts: Yahşihan, Keskin, Delice, Sulakyurt, Bahşılı, Balışeyh, Çelebi and Karakeçili. A separate page for each is tempting, but pages that differ only by district name are what Google treats as doorway pages and low value content. The rules we apply:
- Real service area: list the districts you actually serve on one page and leave out the rest.
- Separate page criterion: open a district page only for a real presence, such as a plant in an organized industrial zone or a second branch.
- Businesses that travel: service businesses that go to the customer, like HVAC technicians, can hide their address and define a service area.
- Shared area with Ankara: if you deliver or provide service in the capital, say so with lead times; if you do not, say that too.
For buyers who search Kirikkale and Ankara together, our web design page for Ankara shows where the two search areas overlap. Firms that want local and industry search handled in one plan can look at our SEO service.
07When an English or German Version Pays Off
A second language pays off in Kirikkale only when a specific buyer, partner or investor reads it. For a restaurant serving local guests an English version is usually unnecessary; for a technopark startup pitching a foreign partner it is part of the sale.
- Technopark startups: investors and partners read the site before any call, so the English version should explain the product in a few sentences, with use cases.
- Manufacturers selling abroad: foreign buyers want material names, tolerances and certificates in terms they recognize.
- German speaking markets: consider German only with a concrete customer or distributor in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, never for a market you merely hope to enter.
Technically, each language needs its own address, and hreflang annotations must point to every version including itself; that tag tells Google which page serves which language. Switching languages should open the same page in the other language, not the home page.
Translation quality is a trust issue here. A machine translated capability page can leave a worse impression on a foreign quality engineer than no English page at all. Adapt the five most visited pages carefully first and add the rest as demand appears.
08Speed, Hosting and Email Security
A corporate buyer who receives a quote from Kirikkale reads a slow site or a browser warning as a sign of a disorganized supplier. We measure speed with Google's Core Web Vitals, judged at the 75th percentile of visits: LCP, the time until the largest content appears, at 2.5 seconds or less; INP, how fast the page responds to a tap or click, at 200 milliseconds or less; CLS, how much the layout shifts while loading, at 0.1 or less.
On industrial sites the most common speed problem is machine and plant photos uploaded straight from the camera. Compressed and served at the right size, they make pages noticeably lighter. Our prelaunch checklist:
- Image size: every photo is prepared for the width it will be shown at and delivered in a modern format.
- SSL and renewal: every page loads over a secure connection, and the certificate renews automatically.
- Backup and restore: backups are stored off the web server, and a restore is tested at least once.
- Upload security: forms that accept drawings allow only specific file types and never place files in a public folder.
For a supplier writing to corporate buyers, email security is part of the site. Missing SPF, DKIM or DMARC records can send your quote straight to the buyer's spam folder. You can test your current records with our SPF, DKIM and DMARC checker before we talk.
09Sample Page Structures for Kirikkale Sectors
Each of Kirikkale's sectors pushes a different page to the front of the site. The structures below are not client case studies; they are general plans we suggest for the business types common in the province.
- Manufacturer supplying state plants: machine list, materials processed, measuring room, quality certificates and a quote form that accepts drawings. For suppliers to the defense sector, the site describes manufacturing capability only; products, programs and client details stay off the site unless the buyer gives written permission. More on the website for manufacturers page.
- Haulier near the refinery: fleet, routes served, driver and vehicle documents, insurance details and an emergency line on one page, with document expiry dates updated in the panel. See the website for logistics firms page.
- Technopark startup: an opening line that starts with the problem, use cases, team and contact; a simple showcase can go live before the product is finished. A sample flow is on the startup website page.
- Keskin Tava restaurant: menu, photos, address, hours, directions and a call button, identical to the Business Profile.
- Farm or livestock producer: products, seasons and an order page with the delivery area stated plainly.
Whatever the structure, show one next step on the first screen: the quote form for a manufacturer, the phone number for a haulier, directions for a restaurant.
10Confidentiality, KVKK and Geographical Indications
Legal texts on a Kirikkale site must describe the data the site really collects and the sales it really makes; a template copied from another company is obvious to a corporate buyer.
- Privacy notice: Article 10 of Turkey's data protection law KVKK (Law No. 6698) requires an information notice wherever personal data is collected, including contact forms.
- Cookie notice: set it up to match how analytics and advertising cookies actually run; for visitors from the European Economic Area, non essential tracking needs consent first, and Google requires consent mode for its measurement and personalized ad features there.
- Distance sales: a farm selling online to consumers must give preliminary information and withdrawal rights before the sale; confirm the details with your adviser.
- Geographical indication: before using a registered name such as Keskin Tava on a product or menu, check that you meet the conditions of the registration.
Confidentiality is a Kirikkale specific topic. Suppliers to public sector plants and the defense industry may be bound by confidentiality and security clauses in their contracts. We add those clauses to the written scope before work starts, keep publishable references in a separate list and set up a protected area for drawings. You always decide what goes public.
The legal content of these texts remains the responsibility of the business or its adviser; we make sure they sit in the right place, link correctly to the forms and stay readable.
11Redesigning Without Losing Search Traffic
When an established Kirikkale company site is replaced, the real risk is losing the old addresses Google already knows. However good the new design is, a migration with missing redirects can cost months of visits.
- Address inventory: list every old URL, the pages that earn clicks in Search Console and the documents that receive outside links.
- One to one mapping: connect each old address to its closest new equivalent; sending everything to the home page breaks that link.
- Permanent redirects: set up the mappings as 301 redirects, the status code that tells Google a page has moved for good.
- Early weeks: watch the Search Console error report and fix any addresses that slipped through.
Industrial sites often forget old catalogs and certificate files. If a PDF link a buyer saved years ago now returns an error, the buyer may assume the company has closed. Files belong on the address list too.
Hiding a staging site with robots.txt alone is not enough: Google cannot read a noindex tag on a page blocked by robots.txt, so a page kept out of the index must be crawlable and carry noindex. Password protection for staging is the safer route. You can compare old and new URL lists with our redirect mapping tool and catch gaps before launch.
12Common Mistakes on Kirikkale Business Sites
Most recurring problems on Kirikkale company sites come from structures built without a clear reader in mind. The six most common, each with a better alternative:
- Capability squeezed into one line: instead of "all kinds of manufacturing", list the machines, materials and measuring capability under separate headings.
- Certificates only as images: instead of a scanned picture, write the certificate name, issuing body and expiry date as text, and attach the original as a download.
- Client logos without permission: instead of lining up public institutions' logos as references, describe permitted work by sector and type of job.
- Outdated fleet details: instead of old vehicle photos and expired documents, run a fleet page whose dates are updated in the panel.
- Copies for eight districts: instead of duplicating one text with district names, state the service area clearly on a single page.
- Launching without measurement: track form, call and WhatsApp enquiries separately from day one, or you will never know which page brings work.
Many of these can be fixed through content edits alone, without a redesign. If you recognize several on your current site, it is worth first sorting out which ones need only updated text and documents; that puts any redesign decision on firmer ground.
13What Drives Scope and Budget
Scope, not the province, sets the cost of a Kirikkale project; our prices are the same for a manufacturer in Yahşihan and a business in Istanbul. Knowing what expands a quote helps you separate what is needed now from what can wait:
- Depth of capability pages: a separate page for each process or machine group adds writing and photography work.
- Document archive: a downloadable certificate archive with tracked expiry dates needs its own panel.
- Protected file area: drawing uploads and a file area visible only to authorized people extend the security setup.
- Language versions: every extra language means adaptation and hreflang setup.
- Custom software: dealer panels, order tracking or shipment screens are development work beyond the website itself.
The efficient way to spend is in phases. Phase one launches the core pages, documents and quote form; phase two adds a language version or the archive. The site goes live sooner, and the second decision rests on real visitor data.
When comparing quotes, check whether the scope is written down; a quote that lists each page, language and form prevents surprise invoices later.
14The First 90 Days and Your Next Step
The first 90 days after launch show whether the site actually brings work. In web design Kirikkale projects we plan that period like this: in month one we watch Search Console and GA4 and fix broken addresses and form issues; in month two we improve the most visited pages and the quote flow; in month three we decide on new capability pages or a language version.
Your part during this time is to note where each enquiry came from: the form, a phone call or a buyer searching your company name. After three months those notes show far more clearly than guesswork where effort should go next.
Before you decide, answer three questions for your own business:
- Who studies my site most closely, and what must they see before they contact me?
- Which documents, photos and permitted references are ready to publish?
- How many languages and which extra functions do I really need today?
You can see the fixed price packages in the web design pricing section and book a short video introduction, whether you are in Kirikkale or working with a firm there, through our contact page. After the call we send the page plan and the quote in writing.
