Trendyol Seller Badges Explained: Successful Seller, Fast Seller and Blue Tick Requirements

Talha Aslan 18 min read 1 views

When I review a marketplace store, Trendyol seller badges are one of the first things I check. A badge tells shoppers in one glance how the store has performed in recent months. In this guide, I explain every badge using only Trendyol's official Seller Information Center, and I add the sticking points I see in practice.

What are Trendyol seller badges?

Trendyol seller badges are trust markers that Trendyol awards to sellers who meet specific performance, brand or authorisation criteria, and shoppers see them on the store page. The current official list includes four badges: Blue Tick, Successful Seller, Fast Seller and Authorised Seller.

The logic is simple. A shopper decides to buy from a store they do not know. Therefore, every signal on the page shapes how quickly they decide. A badge is Trendyol's visual way of saying: "we measured this seller, and they meet our standards."

There is an important split, though. Some badges depend on performance and face a new review every month. Others rest on brand ownership or an authorisation document. So you should not use the same plan for both groups.

Also, a badge is not a sales button on its own. If your product page is weak, the badge adds trust but cannot rescue conversion. My ecommerce product page guide covers the side that works together with a badge.

A note for international sellers: Trendyol publishes these rules in Turkish. You can read the full source on the Trendyol Seller Information Center badges page. Every threshold below comes from that page, and the menu names are my English renderings.

Which Trendyol seller badges exist, and what does each one signal?

Each of the four badges sends a different message. Successful Seller signals overall performance. Fast Seller signals shipping speed. Blue Tick signals brand identity, while Authorised Seller signals an official right to sell. The table below shows the differences at a glance.

BadgeWhat it provesHow you earn itRenewal
Successful SellerLong term performance and customer satisfactionYou meet every criterion each monthMonthly review
Fast SellerQuick dispatch and a fast delivery promiseYou hit the order and shipping thresholds of the last monthFirst week of every month
Blue TickOfficial seller of a well known brandYou apply through the AssistantYou must keep meeting the criteria
Authorised SellerA sales authorisation from the brand ownerYou upload a document in the panelDepends on document approval

Look closely and a pattern appears. You earn the first two badges through operations and the last two through documents. In other words, a small store without a famous brand can still aim for Successful Seller and Fast Seller.

On the other hand, a brand owner sees the reverse picture. Such a business can complete Blue Tick and Authorised Seller quickly. Still, the operational badges demand the same monthly discipline from everyone.

What is the difference between a badge and a label on Trendyol?

Sellers often mix up two terms: badges and labels. A badge belongs to your store and sits at the top of your seller page. A label belongs to a product and appears on that single item.

For example, Trendyol's official labels page defines three Advantageous Product Labels. In rising order, they are Advantageous Product, Very Advantageous Product and Super Advantageous Product. These labels depend on price ranges. So a product can earn a label thanks to a sharp price, while the store stays far from the Successful Seller badge.

The Fast Seller badge connects these two worlds. One of its conditions is that you assign a "Fast Delivery Label" to your products. As a result, a product level label becomes a precondition for a store level badge.

You can see the label price ranges in the Seller Panel under the promotion and pricing section. For details, check the official Trendyol labels page.

When you chase price labels, protect your margin first. The discount calculator gives you a quick check. In short, badges reflect your operations, and labels reflect your pricing policy.

What are the Successful Seller badge requirements?

Trendyol reserves the Successful Seller badge for "experienced sellers who stand out through their performance alone." The badge sits at the top of the store, where every shopper can see it. You need to meet all the criteria every month. A single miss can remove it.

The official requirements are:

  • Your first product went live on Trendyol at least 6 months ago
  • You have designed your seller store page
  • Your violation score over the last 6 months is below 12
  • Your average product rating over the last 6 months is 4.5 or higher
  • Your average seller rating over the last 6 months is 4.5 or higher
  • Your average seller score for the last month is 8.75 or higher
  • You reached at least 1,000 net orders in the last 6 months
  • You had at least 1 net order in the last month
  • Your development centre level is silver or above
  • You receive no complaints about defective, missing or not as pictured items, and you raise no counterfeit suspicion

You can track your badge status, the criteria you meet and your past performance on the seller badges screen inside the development centre. Development levels are a separate topic, so I only mention the threshold here.

Which Successful Seller requirement trips sellers up most often?

At first glance, the list looks easy. In practice, however, two criteria cause far more trouble than the rest: the 8.75 seller score and 1,000 net orders in 6 months.

First, consider the seller score. In Trendyol's colour scale, 8.5 to 9.0 counts as "Successful." Many sellers relax once they see green in the panel. Yet the badge threshold is 8.75, right in the middle of the green band. Put simply, a store showing green at 8.6 still misses the badge.

Second, look at the net order rule. "Net" means orders after cancellations and returns come off. Consequently, crossing 1,000 gross orders may not be enough in a category with high return rates.

The third sticking point is complaints. Complaints about defective, missing or not as pictured items usually come from a gap between the photo and the real product. That's why honest images and descriptions matter for the badge too.

Finally, the store design rule is small but easy to forget. If you never customised your store page, this single item can block the badge even when everything else passes.

How much does the seller score drive Trendyol badges?

The seller score runs in the background of almost every badge. Successful Seller asks for a last month average of 8.75. Blue Tick, meanwhile, requires that your last month average never dropped below 7.50.

According to Trendyol, the seller score reflects your performance across many metrics. Moreover, a higher score improves both product ranking and buybox ranking. So the score works for badges and for visibility at the same time.

You can follow the metrics in two groups:

  • Customer metrics: seller ratings, product ratings, complaint rate, question response time and return handling time
  • Operational metrics: unfulfilled order rate, missing, defective or wrong item return rate, time to hand over to the carrier, on time handover rate, disputed return rate and violation score

Trendyol calculates the score every Tuesday evening and shows it in your panel on Wednesday. The last month carries 70 percent of the weight, and the last 3 months carry 30 percent. In addition, Trendyol compares each seller with other sellers in the same category.

All metric definitions sit on the official Trendyol seller score page.

What do the seller score colours mean for your badge goals?

Trendyol groups the seller score into five colours. When you put these colours next to the badge thresholds, your target becomes much clearer.

ColourScore rangeTrendyol's labelWhat it means for badges
Dark green9.0 to 10OutstandingComfortably meets the Successful Seller score rule
Green8.5 to below 9.0SuccessfulOnly 8.75 and above meets the badge rule
Light green8.0 to below 8.5Could be betterNot enough for Successful Seller
Orange7.0 to below 8.0RiskyBelow 7.50 breaks the Blue Tick rule
RedBelow 7.0Very riskyPuts every badge goal at risk

In practice, my team and I set 9.0 as the target for the stores we work with. That's because one bad week can push a borderline score such as 8.8 below the threshold. A safety margin makes it far easier to keep the badge month after month.

Also note that the first score needs at least 5 delivered orders and 15 days since your first order. New stores can use this window to prepare for badges.

How do you get the Fast Seller badge on Trendyol?

The Fast Seller badge targets sellers who ship quickly and assign the Fast Delivery Label to their products. In Trendyol's words, the goal is to help shoppers choose you.

You need to meet all four conditions within the last month:

  1. Reach at least 150 net orders
  2. Ship at least 90 percent of incoming orders within 24 hours
  3. Assign the Fast Delivery Label to at least 90 percent of your barcode based products
  4. Grant both the delivery deadline display permission and the estimated delivery display permission

Trendyol refreshes badges in the first week of every month. Sellers who keep up their performance keep the badge visible to shoppers.

Here is a quick calculation. 150 net orders a month equal about 5 net orders a day. Therefore, this badge is within reach for stores that sell steadily, even if they are not large. The real challenge lies in the two 90 percent ratios, not in volume.

I suggest a weekly check of both ratios with the percentage calculator. That way you spot a slip before the month closes.

How can you protect your 24 hour shipping rate?

A 90 percent rate means that at most one in ten orders may exceed 24 hours. This shows that stock control and packing routines decide the badge in reality.

The most common problem I see is stock that exists in the system but not on the shelf. It slows shipping and also raises the unfulfilled order rate. Moreover, that rate is one of the seller score metrics. So a single stock error can hurt two badges at once.

That's why I recommend this routine:

  • Check stock and prices in the system regularly; Trendyol itself advises this to prevent unfulfilled orders
  • Plan ahead for order peaks before weekends and public holidays
  • Assign the Fast Delivery Label only to items you can truly ship fast, and watch that the overall share stays at 90 percent
  • Do not tie the daily dispatch to one person; name a backup

On the other hand, labelling every product as fast just to lift the ratio can backfire. If you ship a labelled item late, both the 24 hour rate and the on time handover rate fall. In short, promise only the speed you can actually deliver.

Who can get the Blue Tick badge on Trendyol?

Trendyol awards the Blue Tick to official sellers of brands with high recognition in Turkey or internationally, and to non governmental organisations. In other words, this badge confirms identity more than performance.

The official criteria are:

  • At least 1 product listed during the last month
  • You own the brand you sell, act as its sole and final authorised seller, or run a chain store that meets the required criteria
  • Your average seller score never fell below 7.50 during the last month
  • Your violation score stays below 12 points
  • Your store name matches the brand name; it may also include region, authorisation or category

Many businesses overlook the store name rule. For example, if your brand is "X" but you opened the store under a different trading name, you may first need to align the store name with the brand.

In addition, the Blue Tick mirrors how strong your brand is outside the marketplace. Consistent naming, logo and tone across channels therefore matter. A brand identity project is worth doing before you apply to any marketplace.

How do you apply for the Blue Tick?

The Blue Tick does not appear automatically. To get it, you must apply through the Trendyol Assistant.

The official Trendyol Academy training summarises the conditions as listing, score and violation criteria. The same training names the trademark registration certificate as the required document. It also states that you can receive the badge within the same month through the Assistant.

Before applying, I use this checklist:

  1. Check your trademark certificate and how it matches the store name
  2. Scan the last month of your seller score chart for any week below 7.50
  3. Confirm your current violation score on the violations screen
  4. Make sure at least one product is actively listed
  5. Submit the request through the Assistant and keep the request record

These steps mirror the official criteria one to one. As a result, you avoid the "which rule did I miss?" question after you apply.

That said, Trendyol does not define brand recognition with a measurable number. Keeping your official website and social profiles current therefore supports your case. If your social channels need work, see our social media management service.

What does the Authorised Seller badge do?

An authorised seller is a seller that a brand owner, or its sole and final authorised seller, has officially allowed to sell its products or provide its services. Trendyol covers this status as a separate heading on its badges page.

As an authorised seller, you have the legal and direct right to sell that brand's products under your official agreement with the manufacturer or brand owner.

So what is the practical benefit? According to Trendyol, two things happen once your request gets approval:

  • Your products in the approved brand and category show the Authorised Seller Label
  • You become exempt from originality control processes for that brand and category

The second benefit saves real time in categories with high counterfeit risk. That's because a product held in an originality check can wait before it goes on sale.

However, the source of the authorisation matters. The official notes state that your authorised seller or distributor document must come from the brand owner. A document from an intermediate distributor may therefore fail this rule.

How do you register an authorised seller document in the panel?

You start in the Seller Panel under the product menu, on the document and registration page. Then you open the authorised seller tab. There are two paths, depending on your document.

If your document covers a brand only:

  1. Click the brand based authorised seller document button
  2. Select the brand you want to register for
  3. Upload your brand based authorised seller or distributor document and confirm

If your document covers both brand and category, you start with the same button. This time, though, you select the category and the brand together. For different categories of the same brand, you repeat the process for each one.

Here is a critical warning. According to Trendyol, if you hold a brand and category document but choose the brand only option, Trendyol rejects your request. So read the scope of your document carefully before you upload it.

Trendyol reviews the document, and after approval you see the record under the authorised seller menu. I also suggest you keep document dates in a spreadsheet. That way renewal dates never surprise you.

How often do Trendyol seller badges refresh?

Timing is the most overlooked part of a badge plan. Each badge and metric follows its own calendar. The summary below brings the official information together.

  • Successful Seller: Trendyol reviews the criteria every month, and you must meet all of them each month
  • Fast Seller: Trendyol refreshes badges in the first week of every month, based on the last month
  • Development centre level: Trendyol calculates it on the first day of each month
  • Seller score: Trendyol calculates it every Tuesday evening and shows it on Wednesday
  • Blue Tick and Authorised Seller: these move forward through application and document approval

This calendar gives you a useful hint. An operational hiccup in the last week of a month flows straight into next month's badge review. Therefore, when you plan end of month campaigns, you should plan shipping capacity too.

Also, the seller score leaves out orders from the last 7 days. So a fix you make today shows up in the score only after a delay. Patience and weekly measurement pay off here.

What happens if you lose a badge?

Performance badges are not permanent. Trendyol says Fast Seller badges stay visible for "sellers who maintain their performance." The reverse also holds: if performance drops, shoppers stop seeing the badge.

When a badge disappears, I recommend diagnosis rather than panic. First, open the seller badges screen and see which criterion turned red. That screen lists the criteria you meet and the ones you miss.

Next, dig into the metric behind that criterion. For example, if your seller score dropped, the score page lets you download the data behind the decline as an Excel file. As a result, you see exactly which orders caused the problem.

That said, some criteria do not recover quickly. Ratings that use a 6 month average may not bounce back after a single good month. In that case, a realistic recovery timeline beats hoping for the badge every month.

Finally, track the loss against your sales data. You can compare conversion before and after with the conversion rate calculator. This shows how much the badge is actually worth for your store.

How does the violation score affect badges?

The violation score appears as a direct rule in two badges. Successful Seller needs a score below 12 over the last 6 months, and Blue Tick needs it below 12 points as well. On top of that, the violation score is one of the seller score's operational metrics.

So the violation score reaches your badges through two channels: as a direct rule and by lowering your seller score. A violation can therefore cost you one badge directly and make another harder indirectly.

According to Trendyol, the violation metric in the seller score uses the violation score you hold on the day of calculation. If Trendyol removes violations after that, the change shows up in the following week's calculation. So if a removed violation still seems to count, there is no need to worry yet.

Violation types and appeals deserve their own article. Here I only summarise the badge angle: keeping your violation score under 12 is a firm precondition for both Successful Seller and Blue Tick.

In practice, many violations start with product content. Misleading titles, wrong categories or incorrect brand use fall into this area. That's why a checklist for product uploads prevents violations before they happen.

Are the old Official Seller and Verified Seller badges still valid?

Many older guides about Trendyol badges still circulate online. They mention names such as "Official Seller" or "Verified Seller."

A Trendyol Academy announcement dated 21 March 2022 said the Official Seller badge went only to brand owners and that its conditions had changed. However, today's official badges page does not list these names. The current list shows Blue Tick, Successful Seller, Fast Seller and Authorised Seller.

So I would not follow the rules from an old guide. For instance, some sources describe a 6 month seller score average for Successful Seller, while the current official page uses the last month.

My rule is simple. Always confirm badge rules on the current Seller Information Center page and on the seller badges screen in your own panel. Build your plan once both sources agree.

Marketplace rules also change often. Rereading the official page every quarter therefore stops your team from acting on outdated information.

Which monthly routine keeps your badges safe?

A badge is not a prize you win once and forget. Instead, you earn it again each month. That's why my team and I follow a fixed calendar for the stores we support.

Weekly checks:

  • Read the new seller score on Wednesday and compare it with the previous week
  • Check the 24 hour shipping rate and the Fast Delivery Label share
  • Leave no product or order question unanswered

Monthly checks:

  • Confirm badge status on the seller badges screen in the first week of the month
  • Calculate how far your 6 month net orders are from the 1,000 threshold
  • Make sure product and seller rating averages stay above 4.5
  • Review your violation score and any open appeals

This routine gives you an early warning. As a result, you act before you lose a badge, not after. For a clear view of which metrics to watch, the article on digital marketing KPIs offers a good framework.

How do badges support your brand trust beyond the marketplace?

Inside Trendyol, a badge is a strong trust signal. However, shoppers do not look for you only on the marketplace. Many search your brand on Google before they buy, and they check your website and reviews.

That's why I recommend backing the badge with trust elements on your own channels. For example, a clear return policy, visible contact details and real customer reviews on your own store complete the trust that the badge signals.

I cover this in detail in my guide to ecommerce trust signals. For trust across a whole website, see website trust signals that convert visitors.

On the other hand, balancing marketplace and own store is a strategic decision. A brand that depends only on a marketplace faces the same uncertainty whenever rules change. Your own channel offsets that risk. If you are considering your own shop, the ecommerce website checklist is a good place to start.

Where should you start with Trendyol seller badges?

To sum up, Trendyol seller badges follow two different logics. Successful Seller and Fast Seller are operational badges you earn again each month. Blue Tick and Authorised Seller rest on brand identity and documents.

Here is the order I suggest. First, lift your seller score into the 9.0 range, because that score underpins almost every badge. Next, build your shipping routine around the 24 hour goal and aim for Fast Seller. Finally, if you own a brand, complete the Blue Tick and Authorised Seller steps.

I took every threshold in this article from Trendyol's official pages, and I added no invented figures. Rules can change, so check the official page again before any major decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many seller badges does Trendyol have?
The current official badges page lists four: Blue Tick, Successful Seller, Fast Seller and Authorised Seller. Successful Seller and Fast Seller depend on performance and face a fresh review every month. Blue Tick and Authorised Seller rest on brand ownership, an application through the Assistant and an authorisation document from the brand owner.
What seller score do you need for the Successful Seller badge?
You need an average seller score of 8.75 or higher over the last month. That threshold sits in the middle of Trendyol's green Successful band, so seeing green in your panel is not enough. I suggest aiming for around 9.0 to leave a safety margin against weekly swings in the score.
How many orders does the Fast Seller badge require?
You need at least 150 net orders in the last month. In addition, you must ship at least 90 percent of orders within 24 hours, assign the Fast Delivery Label to at least 90 percent of barcode based products and grant both delivery display permissions in your panel.
How do you apply for the Blue Tick on Trendyol?
You apply through the Trendyol Assistant. Before that, check that you own the brand, act as its sole authorised seller or run a qualifying chain store. Also confirm that your store name matches the brand, your seller score stayed above 7.50 last month and your violation score is below 12.
When does Trendyol refresh seller badges?
Trendyol refreshes Fast Seller badges in the first week of every month and reviews Successful Seller criteria monthly. The seller score itself updates every Tuesday evening and appears on Wednesday. So an operational problem in the last week of a month can directly affect next month's badge result.
What is the benefit of being an Authorised Seller?
After approval, your products in that brand and category show the Authorised Seller Label. You also become exempt from originality control processes for that brand and category. To get there, you upload an authorisation document from the brand owner on the document and registration page in the Seller Panel.
