Fast, not cheap work

Speed comes from a 14-year production system, not from cutting corners. Every site follows the same three principles.

He built our e-commerce site from scratch and thought through every detail down to the checkout flow. My favorite part is watching every task live in the CRM, I know what's finished without calling anyone. Highly recommended.

Guide

Website design prices: what you need to know

A long guide on what drives the cost, hidden fees and how to choose the right package. Scroll to read.

Website design prices in 2026: what actually decides the cost?

"How much does a website cost?" has no single answer, because the word "website" covers everything from a five-page brochure site to an e-commerce platform with thousands of products. I have been building sites since 2012 and I hear this question every week; my answer always starts the same way: let's define what you need first, and the price follows. This guide explains, in plain language, what drives website design prices, the realistic price ranges you will see in 2026, the hidden costs that quietly appear under a quote, and how to choose the right pricing model. By the end, whether you pick the offer on this page or one of my web design packages, you will know exactly what you are paying for.

The eight factors behind every website quote

Open any web design quote line by line and most of the cost comes from the eight items below. Compare quotes on these items, not on the bottom line, or you will be comparing apples with oranges.

1. How custom the design is

This is where the biggest price gap appears. A ready-made theme with your logo and colors dropped in produces a website, but it carries the theme's personality, not yours. A custom design starts from your brand: color palette, typography, page structure and visual language are built around your target customer. A dental clinic that needs to feel calm and trustworthy cannot come out of the same mold as an energetic gym. Custom design takes more time; it raises the price, and it is also the item that raises conversion the most.

2. Page count and content volume

The difference between a five-page and a forty-page site is not just the number of pages; every page needs its own structure, copy, imagery and on-page SEO. For businesses with many services, "extra pages billed separately" inflates the budget fast. That is why the offer on this page has no page limit: as many pages as your services need, in two languages, under a fair-use policy.

3. Content production

Most quotes state in small print that the text will come from you. The result is familiar: the design is finished, the copy never arrives, and the project sits unpublished for months. Having the content written by a specialist, SEO-friendly, is worth paying for both in speed and in Google visibility. I prefer to write the copy ourselves and submit it for your approval; that is what a turnkey website means.

4. Multilingual structure

A second language nearly doubles both the technical setup (language routing, hreflang tags, separate URL structure) and the content. In tourism, logistics, export and health tourism a multilingual site is not a luxury but a requirement; always ask whether the infrastructure is prepared for multiple languages before you sign.

5. Content management system (admin panel)

The easiest way to keep a price low is to deliver a static site that cannot be edited. Afterwards, every price update and every new photo means calling the designer. A site with an admin panel may look slightly more expensive on day one, but over the years it is the most economical choice. In the offer, the panel is standard: you edit text, images, prices and contact details yourself.

6. SEO and technical foundation

A beautiful site that nobody finds on Google is a shop with the shutters down. Heading hierarchy, speed, mobile fit, schema data, clean code and sound internal linking are the invisible but most valuable part of the price. SEO consulting is a separate service, but building the site SEO-ready should be part of the design. Curious about your current site? My free tools measure it in seconds.

7. Integrations and custom modules

Appointment systems, online payment, ERP connections, CRM, booking engines or e-commerce infrastructure: each is a separate piece of software and multiplies the price. Expecting a corporate site and an online store in the same budget is the most common mistake. For stores, see my e-commerce consulting page.

8. Hosting, domain, maintenance and support

A site keeps living after launch: server, SSL certificate, backups, security updates and small fixes. Whether these are included in the quote determines your yearly cost. A "website for $150" quote may hide $80 of hosting, $50 of maintenance and a domain fee every year.

Realistic website design price ranges in 2026

The table below summarizes the ranges I see in the market in 2026. Amounts are one-time setup fees; yearly hosting and maintenance are usually priced separately.

Type of siteTypical rangeWho it is for
Template site on a ready-made theme$300 - $1,000"I just need a site"; low expectations for uniqueness and SEO
Custom corporate site$1,000 - $4,000Small and medium businesses, clinics, offices, gyms, service companies
Advanced corporate site (multilingual, CMS, content)$4,000 - $10,000Multi-location companies, exporters, health tourism
E-commerce site$5,000 - $25,000Brands and stores selling products
Custom software / CRM / platform$15,000 and upLarge businesses, organizations with unique workflows

Looking at this table you can see where the offer's yearly fee of $260 sits: custom design, multiple languages, a CMS and content production normally belong to the second and third rows. The reason I can bring this close to the first row's price is not lower quality, it is the subscription model and a fourteen-year production system; I explain the model further below.

Hidden costs you will not see at the top of a quote

When comparing website design prices, the lines at the bottom of a quote matter more than the ones at the top. The items most often skipped:

  • Domain name: .com domains renew yearly; ask whether the first year is included and in whose name the domain is registered. The domain must always be in your name.
  • Hosting and SSL: a cheap shared server and a fast server differ in both speed and security. SSL is mandatory today and should not be billed separately.
  • Maintenance and updates: sites whose stack is never updated turn into security holes within a few years. Ask for the yearly maintenance fee in writing before you start.
  • Content and imagery: copywriting, stock photo licenses and image editing are often hidden in the "not included" line.
  • Extra pages and revisions: if the quote says "5 pages included", clarify the price of the sixth page and the number of revision rounds.
  • Training and handover: without panel training you cannot manage the site yourself, and every change becomes an invoice.

That is why the offer is built as "everything included": domain, hosting, SSL, maintenance, content, panel and training sit in one yearly fee. The terms section lists it item by item; there is no surprise line.

Why a cheap website ends up expensive

I have spoken with many business owners who bought a $300 site on a freelance platform. The story is usually the same: the site launches, the first months are fine; then a page breaks on mobile, the brand name never appears on Google, an outdated theme gets hacked. In the end the site is rebuilt from scratch. The real cost of a cheap site is not the money you paid; it is the customers and time you lost. When comparing prices, replace "lowest number" with "total cost and return over three years". Seen that way, a properly built site is almost always the cheaper one.

One-time purchase or yearly subscription?

There are two basic payment models for getting a website, and the right one depends on your cash flow.

One-time purchase: you buy the site once and pay only a small hosting and maintenance fee in later years. Total cost over the long run is low; the starting budget is high. My web design packages work this way, with scope and price written down in advance.

Yearly subscription: design, hosting, domain, CMS, content and maintenance are bundled into one yearly fee that renews on the same date each year. The starting budget is low; the fee continues for as long as the site is live. The offer on this page follows this model at $260 per year, billed in USD at the current exchange rate. Its advantage is owning a quality site for a low entry fee while the responsibility (server, security, updates) stays entirely with me.

Which should you choose? If your cash flow is strong and you will use the site unchanged for many years, a one-time purchase makes sense. If you prefer to spread the budget over the year, carry no technical responsibility and have everything handled by one person, the subscription is more comfortable. Design quality is identical in both; only the payment form differs.

What different industries need from a website

Every industry expects something different from its site, and that expectation shapes the price. In fourteen years I have worked with more than fifty brands across six industries; the most frequent needs are:

  • Dental and medical practices: calm, trust-building design, doctor and treatment pages, appointment form, Google Business Profile link and local SEO. Price driver: number of treatment pages and the booking flow.
  • Psychologists, dietitians, consultants: personal-brand focused, strong article and blog structure, online appointments and WhatsApp contact.
  • Gyms and sports schools: energetic visual language, membership and program pages, registration form, seasonal campaign areas.
  • Hotels and tourism: multilingual is mandatory; room and service pages, map, gallery. A booking engine is a separate software project.
  • Logistics and manufacturing: corporate credibility, references, service regions, quote form; usually an English version.
  • Real estate, construction, architecture: project galleries, portfolio pages, map and contact. Listing management needs a custom module.
  • Law and consulting firms: practice-area pages, team, articles; restrained, trustworthy design.
  • Restaurants, cafés, beauty salons: menu and service list, photo-driven layout, location and reservation contact.

The offer covers a corporate presentation site in two languages, which meets the needs of most of the industries above. E-commerce sites are not included; for online stores, booking engines, a company-specific CRM and custom software I prepare a separate quote under the Premium package.

Twelve questions to ask before you order a website

  1. Is the design a ready-made theme or custom for my brand?
  2. In whose name is the domain registered, and is the first year included?
  3. For how long are hosting, SSL and backups included?
  4. What is the yearly maintenance and renewal fee, and how is the increase calculated?
  5. Who writes the copy, and will it be SEO-friendly?
  6. How many pages are included, and what does an extra page cost?
  7. Is the structure multilingual, and what does a second language cost?
  8. Is there an admin panel, and is training included?
  9. How many revision rounds are there, and does anything go live without my approval?
  10. When does the delivery clock start: at signing or when content is delivered?
  11. Are Google Search Console and Business Profile setup included?
  12. Can ads and SEO support after launch come from the same person?

If you cannot get a clear answer to all twelve, the quote is incomplete. On this page the answers are already written; see the FAQ and terms sections.

The difference between an SEO-ready site and a merely pretty one

When website design prices come up, the first question is usually "does it look good", yet what brings customers is the structure underneath. Google understands what your page is about from headings, internal links, speed and structured data. So every site I build follows the same standards: a single correct H1 per page, a logical heading hierarchy, compressed images and a fast server, mobile-first coding, schema data (LocalBusiness, FAQ, Product), correct canonical and hreflang tags, an XML sitemap and a Search Console connection. None of this is visible to a visitor; all of it is visible to Google. You can read more about this approach on my web design service page.

How is delivery in 1-7 business days possible?

Fast delivery does not mean sacrificing quality; it means sacrificing waiting. A production system refined over fourteen years, page architectures proven per industry and review steps running in parallel keep the work moving. The process: after your order I call you the same day to collect logo, services, photos and contact details; we write the copy and submit it for approval; the design is prepared and presented; design, copy, SEO and the technical layer each pass a separate specialist review; with your approval the site goes live and you receive panel training. A simple presentation site is live in a few days, a multilingual multi-page site within seven business days at most. Note that the clock starts when your content reaches us; waiting content is the most common cause of delay.

How working with a Google Partner affects the price

The Google Partners badge is awarded to professionals who meet Google's competency and performance standards in account management. When the person building your site also understands advertising and conversion measurement, the site is set up to bring customers from day one: forms, WhatsApp button and phone clicks are measured, and we see together which page produces how many enquiries. After launch I offer Google Ads management with a custom quote for clients who want it; when the same person builds the site and runs the ads, nothing falls through the gap.

A few more frequently asked questions

Why is the offer price so low, is the quality lower? No. The price comes from the subscription model and a launch plan limited to the offer period. The design is custom, the copy is written by specialists, the foundation is SEO-ready.

I want to redesign my existing site, does the same price apply? Yes; your existing content moves to the new site and old URLs are redirected so your Google rankings are not lost.

Will my domain and content belong to me? Yes. The domain is registered in your name; the content is yours and is handed over on request.

What will next year's price be? The renewal fee is last year's fee adjusted by no more than the twelve-month average CPI published by the Turkish Statistical Institute, announced in writing before renewal.

Can I work with you from abroad? Yes. I work remotely with clients across Europe and beyond in English, German and Turkish; the process runs through calls, e-mail and my own CRM where you can follow every task live.

How to prepare your content so the site launches faster

Since the delivery clock starts when your content arrives, a little preparation on your side shortens the whole project. Gather your logo in the highest quality you have (a vector file is ideal, a large PNG works), a short list of your services with one or two sentences each, five to ten photos of your team, premises or work, your opening hours, address and the phone number and WhatsApp line you want customers to use, and links to two or three websites whose style you like. If you already have a site, send its address so existing texts and rankings can be carried over. With this material in hand, the copy is written and the design is presented within days, and the remaining details are settled in a single phone call. You do not need to write a word of marketing text yourself; that is our job.

What happens after launch

Launch is not the end of the service but the start of it. Your site is connected to Google Search Console and, where relevant, to your Business Profile, so you can watch how Google indexes your pages. Contact forms, WhatsApp clicks and phone taps are measured from day one, which means you know which page produces enquiries. Panel training lets you update prices, texts and photos yourself at any time, and technical maintenance, security updates and backups run in the background for the whole year. When you want to grow faster, Google Ads management and SEO consulting are available from the same person who built the site, with tracking already in place.

Conclusion: the right price is the price of the right scope

When researching website design prices, look not for the cheapest quote but for the one that fully covers your needs and still works three years later. Custom design, an SEO-ready structure, an admin panel, multilingual pages, content production and maintenance: if all of these sit in one fee with the delivery time written down, comparison becomes easy. The offer on this page is valid until October 31, 2026; you can pay online and start today, or request a call and talk first.
